Sure, you may slide around in the saddle a few times, but that’s part of the fun. Some playful teasing about riding skills will bring you closer together during the date. If your date doesn’t have a lot of experience on horseback, plan for a leisurely ride without any uneven terrain. It will make your date more relaxed and ready to have fun if they aren’t squeezing their eyes shut in fear. A slow ride in a level area will allow your date to have fun without worrying about accidents. If you don’t have a horse of your own, you’ll need to call around to riding academies and commercial stables. Many of these have horses that are rented by the hour for riding around the grounds. Some also have a trainer available if you want a riding lesson. You and your date may even decide to take lessons together, securing further dates for you both.
